Security On The Cloud

17/08/2015

When discussing data stored on ‘the cloud’ the most frequently asked question is ‘how secure is my information?’ By way of example, Intuit for QuickBooks Online have spent millions on security measures, ensuring that they have the latest protection that replicates data across three data centres. They carry out daily security tests, running 256-bit encryption, which is the same as used by banks, to ensure that they are one step ahead and stay in line with regulations such as EU Safe Harbour.

All the data is backed up off-site so you don’t need to hold multiple copies on unencrypted devices that can be lost, stolen or accessed without permission.
