As cloud accounting gains in popularity Sage, a major supplier of desktop accounting packages, have bolstered the functionality of their Sage 50 Accounts 2015 and Sage Instant Accounts 2015 by the introduction of Sage Drive. Whilst this falls short of the flexibility of a true cloud package it does significantly enhance their software. With Sage Drive the accounting software can be accessed remotely by connected users at any time, providing an Internet connection is available. Any connected users have the freedom to access accounts from remote locations and can work on the package at the same time and see real-time changes.
