Agriculture All ‘Figured’ Out

Managing the farm accounts is not top of the list of things to do for many farmers. In the UK good add-ons that specifically cater for the agricultural sector and integrate with the cloud packages on day-today transactions are thin on the ground..

In our search for the perfect add-on we did come across ‘Figured’. Now, Figured advertises itself as ‘A tool for today’s farmer’. It promises to:

• Track tonnage by grade to gain clarity over crops harvested, sold and on-hand
• Keep on top of livestock births, deaths, sales, purchases and aging
• Track milk production and instantly update your forecast when milk prices change.

This means that the farmer will no longer be looking at figures from the previous year’s accounts when planning for the future.

At present Figured is, unfortunately, only available in New Zealand, Australia and the USA but watch this space. Will this follow Xero’s path from the Antipodes?
